Peel Passages, the award-winning publication for Peel Elementary Teachers Local members underwent a facelift. The previous incarnation was a tabloid-style newspaper that wasnt getting getting the attention it deserved. Moving to a magazine format presented exciting opportunities for the Local.

A full-colour glossy cover ensures each issue gets noticed and, because magazines tend to stay around longer in staff rooms (compared to newspapers), the message is able to reach a broader audience. The nameplate was redesigned and scaled down, and the layout was modernized to be cleaner and more legible. Advertisements and announcements for the Local benefit from the added colour as well.
